Nainital Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026 – Complete Notification Guide (Grade/Scale I, II & III)

Nainital Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026 — check vacancies, eligibility, age limit, pay scale, application fee, exam dates, and how to apply online for Grade/Scale I, II & III posts.

The Nainital Bank Limited, a 105-year-old private sector bank headquartered in Nainital, Uttarakhand, has invited online applications for Specialist Officers in Grade/Scale-I, II and III. The bank runs a network of 178 branches across five states; Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, and Rajasthan; and this recruitment is meant to bring in specialists across risk, HR, IT, data science, civil/architecture, credit, law, company secretarial work, security, treasury, forex, and credit at the senior level.

This is a regular basis appointment (not a training programme), spread across 14 distinct posts. Unlike many PSU bank notifications, this one asks for relevant post-qualification experience for almost every post; so this is aimed more at working professionals than fresh graduates, except for the five Grade/Scale-I posts where experience is only “desirable,” not mandatory.

Because there’s a lot of post-specific detail here, we’ve split the full notification into three linked articles: this overview, a separate deep-dive on the exam pattern and selection process, and a separate post-wise eligibility and qualification breakdown covering all 14 posts individually.

Eligibility Criteria Nainital Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026

A few rules apply across all 14 posts, so it’s worth internalising these before you check your specific post:

  • Distance/open schooling/part-time/correspondence courses and Executive MBA are explicitly not accepted; your qualifying degree must be regular and full-time.
  • If your university awarded a CGPA/GPA instead of a percentage, you calculate your equivalent percentage by dividing total marks obtained across all subjects/semesters by the aggregate maximum marks; irrespective of honours or optional subjects.
  • Experience certificates must specifically state experience in Banks/NBFCs/FIs/Fintech; a generic corporate experience letter won’t count.
  • Age is reckoned as on 01.08.2026 for every post.

For the full post-wise breakdown of qualifications, experience, and age limits, refer to the dedicated eligibility article in this series.
