ISRO HSFC Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from a recognized university/institute (specific to each post code), along with a qualifying Master’s and Bachelor’s degree meeting minimum marks/CGPA criteria:
- Master’s degree (ME/M.Tech/MS/MSc) in the relevant field with 60% marks (average of all semesters) or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale
- Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech/BSc) in any field with 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA (for engineering-linked posts) / 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (for science-linked posts)
- Alternative route: A BS-MS dual degree in Biological Sciences with Biology specialization and 60% marks/6.5 CGPA is also accepted for several post codes
Important: Candidates with degrees via Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are not eligible.
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 35 years as on the crucial date, 30 August 2026
- Upper age relaxation is admissible for Central Government employees, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen, as per extant Government of India rules
